I flew into and out of Eppley a week or so ago.

Visited my old neighborhood 78& Sorensen and noticed that dirt was being move on the NE corner of Wenninghoff and Sorensen. I know when I lived over there a church and another residential were ‘announced’ but then Wenninghoff gardens kept farming it. It doesn’t look like the Amazon building is being used yet as the parking lot was empty. There is a new building being built where Ida meets Sorensen.

I also took pacific out to 168th - what is the building with all the glass facing Pacific just passed 144th? I stopped to see some former coloration Apple and I think there is a restaurant going in where PierOne was.

I stayed with some friends that live out by 168th and Ida and wow has that area built out in the 4 yrs I have been gone. Also on the way to the airport the next morning, I saw some new townhouse-apts on the NW corner of Military & 120th. Then kitty corner from there was construction going on maybe the sign said OPPD.

Omaha definitely is spreading out but also filling in.

The building at 144th & Pacific is the Applied Underwriters HQ.

And yes, a southwestern cuisine restaurant is going in place of the old Pier One I believe.
