NRG Media is selling its Tri City stations to Alan and Joanne Usher of Usher Media in Grand Island.

The stations included in the transaction are Classic Rocker KROR/101.5 (Hastings), Country station “Y102” (KRNY/102.3 Kearney), “Hits 106” (KQKY/105.9 Kearney), Classic Hits outlet “107.7 The Island” (KSYZ Grand Island), News/Talker KGFW/1340 (Kearney), and KGFW translator K241CN/96.1 (Kearney).

Most of the stations were previously owned by Mitchell Broadcasting.
The Ushers currently have a minority interest in several other Grand Island stations, which they will divest themselves of.
