Rumors flying that the triplex on 3821 Farnam St. may be demoed in favor of a music venue.

Interesting. It's a neat building, but undoubtedly in rough shape. Hopefully the inside is beyond repair so leveling it would make sense.

The homes right next to it are really rough too. A music venue would be great for Blackstone, but that triplex is a cool building.

I always knew this property as “The Jerkstore” – lots of memories there - most are hazy. Conor Oberst lived in the west unit circa 1999 – 2000ish and played a few amazing private shows for a group of people in the living room of the west unit. Lots of local musicians dabbled in impromptu music there. Would be sad to see it torn down but couldn’t think of a better replacement concept given the legacy of the property…

Nope, it's currently zoned for "General Commercial District", like the majority of the Blackstone.
