With a 1 year old at home, I never seem to find time to get out and take photos like I use to. I did manage to get out tonight and take a skyline photo tonight! From the roof deck of the new "River's Edge Pavilion":

I have always wondered if a guy with talent (i.e., not me) and a camera could get a great picture from one of those River City star night cruises. The view of the skyline when you are so low right down on the river is a perspective I don't find elsewhere in town. The skyline seems higher and with more mass when you're looking up at it from river level. Or at least it does to me.

I have one somewhere, I'll try to find it. The problem is, with these twilight photos like this one, I am usually running anywhere between 10 and 30 second exposures and the boat would be moving too much for that.

Between the Fuji traditional photo paper or Epson ink print? First I need to change "Fuji Luster Print" to something else. Seems like most of the photos labs have dropped the Fuji for Kodak. But between the Fuji/Kodak and the Epson, they Look wise they are very similar. I usually I usually go with the traditional photo paper because of the durability. When I go to art fairs and I am outside and I don't want to worry about moisture. You can take a traditional photo and submerge it in water and nothing will happen, in fact, traditional photo paper is submerged during the development process. That said, if you get the Epson print and frame it, its going to be just fine. The traditional paper is done at a photo lab out of state and the Epson is done here in Omaha by Tim Wright (Timmy's Treehouse here on eomaha). If you want to see all the options, stop by the Art Fair at Countryside Village the first weekend in June. I will have all the different printing options where to see.

Yep, went with the Epson since that is done here in Omaha and I'd like to support local. Can't wait to get it!
