Global Brew Tap House

Post by Brad »

Anyone heard of Global Brew Tap House? I got a sponsored add from them on Facebook this morning. Something about "Omaha, want to join our team?"

Website (Not currently working for me)
http://globalbrew.com/

Looks like 4 locations and the furthest west / closest is in DesMoines, IA.

I saw an ad for them on FB in the last couple of days too. Wasn't sure what it was but figured I would learn here sooner than anywhere else at some point.
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

It sounds a little bit like Casual Pint -- beers on tap and also beer to buy to take --but with a bigger food menu although Casual Pint has added some more food recently

I’d say it’s more like Growler USA.

If Coyote’s post is any indication, 200+ craft beers possibly on tap? I’ll take it :thumb: ...

Their website was working finally. This is why it sounds a bit like casual pint having the bottled beer.

Global Brew Tap House is home to a community of craft beer loveTapsrs, 50 beers on tap and approximately 200 bottled beers from around the world.

Nooo!! I avoid chains when possible. Still it’s on my way home from work and they carry local cider and have never given me bad advice.

The owners are cool and knowledgeable, though. Certainly a better vehicle to try craft beer than Growler or is this new joint coming to town.

I think it is more of a franchise and the local owners are there and involved. Also the beer tenders are knowledgeable and make suggestions based on what someone would like to drink

If you haven’t been there go try it out.

I’ve been there plenty, I used to be a craft beer distributor rep. And most chains are ran as franchises...

There's one of these close to me in Schaumburg. I believe it's franchised. This particular location has a great beer list, getting stuff that is pretty rare and hard to get locally. I haven't been to any of the others, but it's pretty decent.

Main complaint is the place is sterile looking and pretty unexciting, but it's also brand new so hopefully it will grow into its space a bit.

That said, I'd take the Omaha Casual Pint over it.
