Costco in Council Bluffs (Menards)

Rumor has it, after Menards moves to Mall of the Bluffs, Costo will demolish the Menards building and build a Council Bluffs location.

That will be three for the metro. By way of comparison, St. Louis also has three and Indianapolis has two.

I would like to hope that adding another to the metro will help reduce crowds at the Dodge Street one, but it will likely not have any effect.

I don't think it fell through. I think it was a rumor that never had any legs other than some wishful thinking

There were 3 proposed until they were bought out by an investment company. They were all canceled. West Maple, Steel Ridge (Sapp Brothers) and Council Bluffs. People call in to Grow Omaha all the time asking what happened to Fleet Farm.
