Rare nighttime Tornado Nashville

Post by Cermak »

Rare deadly nighttime tornado in Nashville. Thoughts and prayers with the city at this difficult time. I’ve only driven thru Nashville once many years ago. You don’t always think about tornadoes in Tennessee but this shows they can happen in many places. Looks like quite a bit of destruction took place and last count 19 dead. Very shocking event and it all took place just after midnight.

Not that rare, but always dangerous when people are sleeping.

Currently 22 fatalities are reported.

Preliminary EF-3 numbers just came out from the NWS:
