Site-1 Brewing (2566 Farnam St) - TAP ROOM CLOSED

Post by iamjacobm »

Liquor license request for "Launch Brewing" at 2566 Farnam, the Farnam Hill redevelopment. Supposed to be an incubator for brewers so the offerings will be everchanging.

Site-1 Brewing on 25th and Farnam opened just before Christmas. They changed the name from Launch to Site-1 prior to opening. I dropped by over the holidays and it was slow but I expect that it' going to be a great place as we get past COVID.

Just curious when and why they changed their name from Launch Brewing to Site-1 Brewing?

Read a couple positive reviews on this place.

There is a Launch Pad Brewing in Colorado that was going to contest the name. Went to the soft opening, good beer and food. The building is an old Historic Firestone Dealer, it is listed on the Historic Register and received tax credits.

I've been to Launch Pad and Site-1. Both are nice, but Site-1 has much better looking tap room.

It will run during regular business hours from Oct. 25 through 27. Mug Club members will get $5 beers and everyone can enjoy $5 pours of Object K. Pizzas are $10 all weekend and a buffet is $25 per person.

There also will be a raffle for a free Mug Club membership, a booklet for a year’s worth of $1 pizzas, gift cards, and a Brew with the Brewers package.
If you are wondering about the new Owners, they are in great hands...

Backlot is one of our favorite restaurants in town and the ownership/management has always been amazing. Just hosted my wife's 50th birthday at Backlot in Elkhorn and they had talked about their acquisition of Site 1, adding their pizzas to that location, etc. I hope they do very well!

Our brewery remains in operation, and our beers will continue to be available at local bars and restaurants throughout the area.
Thank you to everyone who supported the taproom over the years. We look forward to continuing to provide great beer to our customers and partners. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement!
