A timetable accompany the plan estimates the application for incentives will be made to the city in May with City Council consideration anticipated in October. If approved, construction would being in Spring 2022 with completion anticipated in February 2024.

11-1 yes vote but the media tried to spin up a storm. Need incentives to keep jobs and local development just as much as attracting from out of the metro.

New spec office space, which this project has, is one the big targets for downtown and city manager now.

Have they found a replacement tenant for the Waddell and Reed tower downtown? Was worried with all that space available would impede other proposed projects.

The strongest rumor is Blue Cross Blue Shield. No office announcements yet but it is known that multiple parties expressed interest in some/all of the space
