looks different than the original rendering in the article, but man...KC development seems to be booming right now.

The facade materials aren’t great but I’ll take the density like that any day.

Better view. Plans to break ground this fall.

Would this still be considered part of Crossroads or would be be considered more of a bridge area between DT and Crossroads?

I would call this the Crossroads.

IMHO Crossroads is about 80-90% of the land between 670 to KC Terminal Railway. I35 to Highway 71. Performing Arts and Freight House being little sub-neighborhoods within Crossroads.

Google has a more limited definition vs. the Neighorhood website which has a broader definition than I described.

I'll be honest, other than the height, I think it looks terrible. It looks like any other plain 4-5 story apt building just taller.

Similar vibes to the 12 story, 164 ft "Skyline Tower" in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

But the new design is definitely a step up from previous renderings at least

Not bad, I would take it for Omaha.

Wow 10th!! I just read an updated Chicago construction page and they just put up their 10th of the summer. Good to see KCs momentum continue.

Project is rising. The final color will be a light gray or creme.
