Hot shops (behind new hotels on Cuming north of the Qwest Center) is having their open house this weekend. 12-8 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. 80 artists displaying their works.

I absolutely love the new street scape that is being done between the Hot shops and the new hotels.
Kudos to the design, it really pulls the hot shops into the entire redevelopment. OUTSTANDING

I give it 2 snaps-up!!!!!!

The Expressions in Fiber Art exhibit has come back to the Hot Shops where it all began! This important event for the fiber arts community is a chance to wake the world to the fiber arts with a month of lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

Opening reception: Friday, Sept. 2, 6-8 p.m.
Art Fluid Open Studio Night featuring a fashion show: Friday, September 16
Workshop Schedule (registration opens soon)

Thursday, 8th
6 p.m. Lecture and studio tour with Robbie Eklow and Demonstrations with Agneta Gaines and Caroline Schmitz
