OFFICIAL - FORUM MEET - SAT AUG 1, 2009

I spoke with Chris Redfield from NP Dodge. He is open to a tour of the new JLofts building on Saturday, August 1st. Who would be interested in attending?

How about a geocaching event? I could work up some way points all over downtown, that could include condo's or whatever, and the last waypoint would be a bar/restaurant to hang out at.

We would probably do this as a group, since I'm not counting on enough people showing up to split into teams. I can make the tour 100% on foot, or split between walking and driving, and I bet the photogs here could give up some of their picturesque hot spots to make it worth every ones time.

If you don't have a GPS unit and can't join the group at the start, I can provide the coordinates in advance, and you can use google maps to figure them out.

The Downtown Living tour is Saturday, May 30th. I'll be working at Riverfront Place and would love for you guys to pop in. I'd possibly be able to meet up afterward for drinks or whatever.

Seriously! That sucks, that's the same day as the Urban Wine Festival! I wanted to go on the tour, but may be not this year....

They close down one of the streets. Wine, live music, etc.

A suggestion for something to do would be to take a tour of the Qwest Center. I've taken many tours of stadium/arenas across the country. Usually you'll visit a locker room or two, go to a suite, go to arena/stadium floor, etc. I realize most have already been to Qwest a bunch of times, but just throwing that out there.

I spoke with Chris Redfield from NP Dodge. He is open to a tour of the new JLofts building on Saturday, August 1st. Time is yet to be determined but perhaps 3ish. I will speak with Chris and iron out the tour time. Who would be interested in attending?

Yes I think that they return before then so hopefully they will make it. Also, I spoke with Omaha Cowboy via phone and he plans on attending.

Indeed. I have a gift for everyone that shows up.

Also, DTO and I are discussing a few other things like maybe a quick Omaha trivia with prizes for the winners or something. No promises on that one though, I'd have to actually do some work for the trivia.
