So, I was in Denver over the weekend and hit up a few bars in LoDo right next to Coors Field. It was awesome. I hope Omaha doesn't |expletive| this up - it has great potential. Rooftop bars people....rooftop bars!

It's really cool to see that section of the "visor" added.

Yeah I was just down there a couple weeks ago, the rooftop bars were nice although the excessive amount of people sucked. Oh yeah and what is up with bars down there not having coors light just bud light?

pshhhhhh, I'll drink any of it. I was there during the Cubs series, which by the way it looked like a home game for Chicago judging by the amount of their apparel I saw at the bars and stadium.

i love the density this stadium will add from ground level. We drove by this morning on our way to Children's for my son, and it looks simply impressive! I think that once it gets going, developers will start getting excited about it all over and we will see a spur in development. I cannot wait!

It will make for a lot of high choppers for double play balls. :D

They are moving right along on the steel, even more so considering they weren't supposed to start steel until September.

So they started steel in August, when it should have been September. I wonder how much this will put them ahead? The obvious answer would be "well, one month," but with them getting started with the weather being nice and the ground being more manageable at this point, could they make up extra ground & time outside of the one month due to an early start? Who knows, by this time next year they could be about done.

The article said "IF" the new stadium is not ready?

However that for another thread anyways... This is the construction thread and here are a couple of half |expletive| update shots on my way home today.

Nice pics!

From what I remember, the NCAA wants Rosenblatt playable in 2011 regardless on if the construction looks like it will be ready or not. They want Creighton to play there so the surface was played on and to basically give them a reason to maintain it.
