Cool pictures, Tuna. My girlfriend called me this morning saying that the fog was really cool by the river, but I couldn't pull myself out of bed.
I found this one while going through some pictures that I kind of liked and forgot about.

I made a new thread with some fog pictures from mid-morning. It was really incredible.

Looking through some of my old photos last night and I came across this one. I shot a ton of construction photos back then, but not sure I remember this particular photo...

Re: Random photos
There is a trend going on right now called "Intentional Camera Movement" or ICM...
Here is the opposite, completely un-intentional camera movement... LOL. I had my camera on a timer, didn't realize I bumped the timer so while I was still getting my composition, the camera started taking the photo, so I ran with it...

Recently, FNBO contacted me about one of my Omaha skyline photos. I’m excited to share that it’s now featured on a billboard just east of 96th Street along I-80 in Omaha.

Congratulations! Came across this photo from 2009 tonight. Should be fairly easy if you look at one key detail, but name this Omaha construction site...

Yep. Biggest difference between this and TD Ameratrade at this stage is the curved south side.

Yeah, the curved side the building and the powerline's running along 72nd St. in the background kinda gave it away.

Re: Random photos
I mean the angle is technically right, I feel like what throws this off is that the brightness (or blueness maybe, idk, im not a pro) cranked to a million. Because if that shadow is to be real, the sun would be way lower in the sky than it seems in this photo.

Re: Random photos
Well the entire photo is underexposed so the sky is dark, but I'm guessing that was intentional to make that ridiculously fake shadow, which just happens to look like the KC Skyline, standout more.Louie wrote: Thu May 28, 2026 10:13 am I mean the angle is technically right, I feel like what throws this off is that the brightness (or blueness maybe, idk, im not a pro) cranked to a million. The white balance is also way off, which makes the sky look extra blue too. That's a sunset photo so the sky should be a lot warmer.

Not to mention that the magical skyline shadow doesn't extend into the gap between the lighting and top of the stadium. Just poor Photoshop work all around.

Re: Random photos
During one of the final years of Rosenblatt, there was a photo being sold in mass quantities (I think by the CWS itself). Anyways, that photo of Rosenblatt had a completely different sky above the press box than in the gap between the press box and the top of the red seats. It was terrible... That's the skyline view angle that I wish the local station's would use for their news backdrop, zoomed-in a bit. KETV typically shows the top of the new MOO tower cut off and KMTV uses an old backdrop without the new tower at all, on their morning weather cast.
Great photo!
