Grand China Buffet (114th Dodge)

I looks like they are finally doing something with the old Saturn Dealership at 114th and Dodge. There is a dumpster out front an a temporary sign out by the street that says "Grand China Buffet - Coming Soon"

This seams like a really large property for a buffet...

Is that different from the China Buffet over by Feta's on the north side of Dodge or are they moving there?

I think it is different. It would be dumb to move to that location. Horrible access and a huge building.

I agree with what you said, Brad. However, every time I eat at that Feta's it looks like that Chinese place is packed. Maybe they feel like they need more space?

I eat way too much feta's myself. I think the former OPPD bay next to the the buffet is vacant.

Is this the building East of the Amoco and Burger King? I think that was a Furr's Cafeteria back when it was built. A little big for a Chinese buffet if it is.

I am not sure about others, but to me they are a waste of money. For as much as you spend on a buffet, you can go have a decent meal at a lot of places. I want quality over quantity. Buffets were cool when I was 18.

I guess that would make sense if you're a hardcore food junkie. Personally I like being able to spend $10 or so and have my pick of what to eat and how much. Of course that assumes that they have good food, like Old Country Buffet.

More of a fan of China Buffet/Mongolian Grill a few blocks north on 114th
