Speaking of Papillion... they seem to be picking up steam on their streetscape work... supposed to be done in time for 'Papillion Days' (June 15).

I have noticed that. They have been hard at it this past week.
While it will not be as impressive as South Omaha's new streetscape, it will be a welcome addition.

It would be nice if they would also start removing some of that ugly metal plating they installed in the 50's/60's to obscure the otherwise beautiful brick facade of several of downtown Papillion's buildings.
