Either that's an amazing special ( $1 tap beer and free IPAs!) or tap beers are $1 OFF and IPAs are $2 OFF.

Wilson & Washburn will be opening early (and more importantly, turning on the taps!) this weekend, Saturday, August 17th at 9am and Sunday, August 18th at 10a, for the start of the 2013-2014 EPL season. As demand dictates, we might consider opening for the early early games on future weekends.

Awesome! I really hope you guys give it more than two weeks to build a clientele for this. Most of us already have our Sat/Sun morning routine. If you give it some time, I'm sure many EPL fans will find their way down.

As a stupid side note, from the pictures, it's nice to see low (normal height) tables at this place. So many pubs/bars/lounges have so many high set tables and chairs that those of us in wheelchairs (yes, I know we're a limited audience) are very limited in seating. Doesn't look like this is the case here, and I think that's awesome.

For the sake of full disclosure, we only have a couple low tables on the main floor, up front by the windows. We have to be able to shift from two tops to four/six/eight tops on the fly due to our lunch vs happy hour vs late night mix, so we settled on one primary height, which worked better as high tables.

However, we do keep an extra low table under the stairs to be brought out quickly for wheelchair access. If you happen to get there when we're busy and the low tables up front are being used, we'll be happy to set up for you.

Our mezzanine level was "grandfathered" for ADA purposes. We had little to do with that, as we are simply leasing the space.

Having ANY low tables is a good thing. Also having an extra table for set up is a good thing as well. I understand we aren't a huge demographic by any means, I'm just glad to see there are at least some low tables :). Too many establishments along the same vein have zero room or space made out for people such as myself.

And don't worry about justifying the grandfathering for ADA, that's entirely understandable since it's an older building and what not...and you have space in the lower level.

I can't wait to come and try this place.

The wings are not yet permanently on the menu. Last night was a trial run. They hope to have them on there soon.

Had a few drinks there last night, cool place. So much of the bars in the OM have turned into shoulder to shoulder light beer fests, nice to see a real beer bar downtown.

I agree 100% in years past I only enjoyed going to the Upstream since it was the only place in the OM that had good beer but after that I would swing over the Cresent Moon since I could do the most damage there with their huge draft selection.

They have awesome IPA's there.

I started with my usual O'Dell IPA which is amazing, then one of the owners turned me on to the Mojo IPA which is a Nitro tap. That was frickin awesome. Then he turned me on to some other super high octane IPA which was also really good. Great selection there!

I had the Stone IPA first, I started seeing it at Hy-Vee so I gave it a try here. Very good beer, but it is over 10 bucks for a six pack at the store, probably one to enjoy at the bar. I then went to the Odell which never disappoints and finished with the Mojo Nitro which was really cool, never had a beer like that before. Washed down my rounders with a Hopluia at Stiles. Always have a little too much fun when an out of town friend visits, she really like W&W. Said it reminded her of a place in Uptown Atlanta.

I wish I could remember the IPA I had at this beer hall in Brooklyn since it was over 15% abv they served it in a wine glass and it was absolutely magical.. wish I could get that style of beer around town here.. that place in Brooklyn imported all of their beers from Germany and they cost 8-10 bucks each  its been great living here again and drinking for half the price haha
