Creighton is the top story on Sports Center, Wragge is #5 in their top 10 list.

I just saw that. Great to see. They were comparing Creighton to the Houston Rockets shooting for 3's tonight. Tonight was a game for the ages for Creighton. Glad I was able to see it all.

Nice articles coming in:

Wragge, Creighton put on offensive clinic in rout of Villanova
CBSSports wrote:Creighton isn't just good enough to win the Big East.

The Bluejays are good enough to do serious damage in the NCAA tournament.

Why do I say that with such certainty?

Because Creighton is the best offensive team in college basketball.

Ethan Wragge, college basketball’s best shooter, shot his first three … in 10th grade?
NBC Sports wrote:Ethan Wragge is the best shooter in college basketball.

Yeah, I know, that’s about as subjective a statement as a writer can make, one that can be debated and argued and nitpicked until no one actually cares who the best shooter in the country is anymore.

But as of tonight, it’s not a discussion. As of Monday, January 20th, no one can touch Ethan Wragge, because no one else single-handedly buried the No. 4 team in the country, on the road, in all of 6:03 of game-time that took a little more than ten minutes of real time.

Creighton hits 21 threes in a rout of No. 4 Villanova
NBC Sports wrote:Creighton can beat anyone in the country.

It’s not even debatable at this point, not after the Bluejays went into the Wells Fargo Center and beat No. 4 Villanova 96-68.

Let me repeat that in case you missed it: Creighton beat the No. 4 team in the country — a team with wins over No. 8 Kansas and No. 10 Iowa — by 28 points on the road. When you think about it like that, there may not be a more impressive win by anyone in the country this season.

Just looked at the play-by-play....simply amazing that at one point the Jays were up 56-43 early in the second half. They then went on a 28-4 run to go up 84-47 and put the game away. I was very excited to see this, because there have been other times the Jays go up big only to relinquish most of the lead, but that was not the case last night.

The only time I was concerned (not that I wasn't stressed the whole game) was the run Nova had at the end of the first half. A 28 point lead cut to 13. Turnovers, walks, stepping on the line, bad shot selection, losing their aggression..., but they came out in the second half and made that run to put Nova away for good. Otherwise they played a great game all around. I think one of the impression stats was the assist total per points made at one time was ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I missed all but the last 8 minutes of that game. If anyone knows where I might be able to find the replay, then I love you long time.

Second... I've read and listened to a lot of reviews from pundits around the country, including reports from Philly. Pretty much, everyone is in resounding agreement: "That was the most incredible offensive show they've ever seen..."

Clearly, Creighton's gameplan is a feast-or-famine proposition, but they've been eating good. I just hope they stay hot during the tourney, because they can definitely beat anyone in the country, maybe even the '91 bulls.

I DVR'd the 11am replay, try seeing if it's going to replay again. Creighton usually youtube's their own scoring plays within a few days.

Not to take anything away from Nebraska's win at home over a reeling Ohio State team, but I didn't care for Shatel's article in the paper that he seems to be comparing Nebraska basketball to Creighton. Currently, there is simply no comparison. Nebraska is headed in the right direction, but a 9-8 record is not even close to 16-3. I just wish that he would have given the Jays their due for such an amazing game.

After the win @ Villanova, the latest RPI Scout has Creighton going 25-5 (15-3) with a revenge loss to Nova (79-80) and @ Xavier (76-78). Nova is predicted to win out 29-2 (17-1).

Villanova. 17-1
Creighton. 15-3
Xavier. 9-9
Seton Hall. 9-9
Providence . 8-10
Marquette. . 8-10
DePaul. 7-11
Georgetown . 6-12
St. John's. 6-12
Butler. 5-13

If this holds up, Creighton will receive a first round bye and play the winner of the DePaul Butler game, then the 3 v 6 winner.

They gave a few tough away games still, @Providence, @Villanova, @Marquette, @Georgetown, and end the year with a home game against Nova. Time will tell.

I have noticed that it seems his sweet spot is from way behind the line and if he's crowding the 3 line he usually misses.. I feel sorry for the other teams that have to defend this Bluejay squad.. having Dougie dominating the paint and Wragge/Manigot swishing 3's left and right is undefendable!

It's also a really unfortunate way to lose to teams like GW and providence.
