They closed the South East tunnel of the Clink tonight and filled it with seats. They have also added a third portable section in the bud bar area. Between the two new areas tonight, they can hold an additional 250 fans!

Here is the closed tunnel area:

Not the tunnel section. There were corner bleachers in the Bud Light section though.

It should be entirely possible to breach 19,000 this season. If we don't we aren't trying hard enough. Close off the Bud Bowl like we did for the NCAA tourney a couple years ago and keep the tunnel section.

Apparently largest crowd ever for any event at the CLCO!

One more set of portables in the bud bar tonight could have out it over 19,000. That said with all the standing room only tickets, the BB is jammed full tonight!

Pretty astonishing how CU is dispatching teams with names like Georgetown, Villanova and Butler with the same efficiency that they took out Drake, Bradley and Evansville.

Thanks for the pics Brad....I knew that something looked different down by giant golf ball, but I didn't know that they put in extra seats there last night. Very glad to have another record crowd and a win, wish the game would have started a little better shooting wise. It would have been really loud in there.

CBS -Bracketology now has Creighton a 3 seed, Nova a 4, Xavier down to a 7, and Providence up to an 8.
So far Creighton has lost to an 8 seed, a 6 seed, and a 2 seed.
And as a 3 seed in the CBS projection... If the 6 seeded Kentucky were to lose to the 11 seed, Creighton would play Altman's Oregon

St John's playing good defense only a few chances for 3.. Looks like teams are starting to learn how to limit 3 point shots from the Jays.
