Hopefully we see more movement on these in the near future. Driving by last week, it doesn't appear that much has taken place, although I could be wrong. Looking back at the article from the paper, it says the original scheduled completion was spring 2014. Doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I doubt it, but work definitely seems to be ongoing. It will be incredible when it's all done.

Hopefully work picks up there soon, I am guessing it will since the TIF was approved.

Read it again. Ulferts Row House Property Management LLC (David Ulferts) is the company asking for TIF for Traver's Row redevelopment.

I drive by this project all the time and from the outside, this project is moving so slow. Hopefully they are concentrating on the interior work first.

With the pace of this project I expect it to open in time for the swimming trials in 2016.

They have finally started doing more on the outside. I do wonder how much has been done inside.

I have to admit, kinda excited about this one. Maybe I missed it but have there been any renderings? I'm curious to see what this slow progress will bring!

According to the story from August 2013, the anticipated completion was Spring 2014.

I'd have to look back sometime to see if I can find some, but I don't remember seeing any...

Reading the story in the paper, it doesn't sound like a lot is going to change. The are redoing plumbing, electrical, roofs and utility lines. They are also placing "attractive" fencing between each building. So outside of those change the only changes will be street lighting and landscaping.

Looking at these a few days ago, I noticed new front porches were recently installed.

Yeah, I see a crew there everyday when I drive by but at least from the outside the progress is barely progressing. Maybe they are making some headway on the interiors, but at this pace it would be lucky if they are completed by next summer.

By looking at it, I still think they will be lucky to be open this next summer. It appears they have a long ways to go still. Many of the buildings still have boarded up windows.

I'm hoping work picks up when it gets warmer, but I'm not sure if it will.

It seems like its only a couple guys doing all the work. I think they have got a lot done as small as the crew is and as big as the project is.

Wow and I used to watch from the Rorick vehicles pulling up buying drugs non stop day and night there. It was dubbed crack-ally and was Omaha's Bonafide open air market. Given the broken window theory this could go a long ways into changing that sector of downtown and more.

Drove by yesterday and it is finally coming along. Overall it looks pretty good. The only thing I was wondering, are they going to keep the buildings on the south painted white? They haven't taken the paint off yet. You can see the buildings in this picture:

This is a very interesting project...unlike anything else in Omaha. It has a nice intimate "neighborhood" scale to it. Almost appears like you're looking down an "old west" street too.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.

That's funny. I swear that last time I drove by, there were new porches framed up, but they're gone in that photo. Design change?

That was Coyote's photo from before construction. I was just using it to show the houses on the south side of the project and their white color.

10-4, I guess I just skimmed over too quickly. The weather looks nice again, though, so I think I was just fixated on that, lol.

Here are some recent pictures from their website: Everything looks pretty good. The only thing that is crazy is that they were slated to be completed in Spring 2014, so here we are over a year later and still not finished. At least they are well on their way.

Here is one of the buildings on the south end of the property that I was talking about: (are they going to at least remove the paint)

At least one of the town homes is actually occupied already and others are still in progress. The northernmost buildings on either side are still being renovated. Like one was fully gutted still.
