Nice work. Just FYI though, those Intex pumps are junk. I've got a relative with an Intex pool and I think they get about one season of use out of each unit.

Thanks. That is what I have heard about the pump...I think next year we may upgrade to salt water pump, but I am not sure yet.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. The summer has been so rainy and cool so far, so I am glad I got it done in time to enjoy it for the hot weather. By the way after a few more modifications, we do plan to have a pool party.

Yeah thats probably true but in our case we hardly ever used our backyard because there is no shade and it gets too hot in the summer. We have already used it more in the past week than the whole past year combined. And with our layout, if we ever move, we can just plant grass where the pool is and it will be a nice level grass patio.
