Heard Newport Landing SID might be bankrupt soon? How does that all work?
I suppose the levy would plummet and it might be more reasonable to build there?

People are going to want their money. The filing is usually just the start of hard core negotiation on the debt. Its not likely to be a bargain in the end, but the SID might limp along long enough to survive.

I can certainly see that as a potential problem. Odd lake configuration, lots of undesirable lot locations, and it got rolling just as the housing crash hit and once that was over, there were lots of other options.
