Actually the one I was talking about is another Kiewit project. Just a parking garage.

I'm trying to find an excuse to get out there and see how the cancer center is coming along, but it's pretty far out of my way.

It's going to be tough to get a clean shot of all of them. The MCL crane is pretty tall close to Leavenworth, But the Husman crane closer to the skating rink is not very tall. You can see the small one from JCoco, but the Durham buildings may block the strong one from the good cemetery view. I'm in a hurry right now so I didn't pop in to the cemetery and see what the view looked like, maybe tomorrow. Not sure what the view from the north is, the east is blocked

Yeah I tried finding a good spot for them all and Brad's correct, you just can't get them all in one shot.

I bet the park at 42nd and Davenport would have a decent perspective.

If you're sitting at the intersection of 90th and Dodge facing east you can see 4 cranes. It's a pretty cool sight.

NU regents are offering OPS over $6.5 million to move the JP Lord school at 44th and Farnam. Gives more credence to future development west of Saddle Creek.

I have heard that offices in the Munroe Meyer building have slowly been moving out, so this may be the next demo on campus....

Saw this in the School Board Minutes

Lease Termination Agreement - J.P. Lord
The Board of Education approved the Lease Termination Agreement among the District, the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska and The Nebraska Medical Center. This Agreement provides for termination of the existing ground lease for the J.P. Lord School building and transfer of the school building to the Board of Regents upon completion of a replacement school building on land currently owned by the District and relocation of the J.P. Lord School to the new school building. The Board of Regents and The Nebraska Medical Center will pay to the District the sum of $6,667,000.00 toward the cost of constructing and equipping the new school building and relocation of the school to that building.

There are still a full 4 floors (counting the roof) to go on the research tower. It's going to have quite a presence when you see it from Saddle Creek.

A new learning center being proposed for the University of Nebraska Medical Center has campus leaders and state senators gushing enthusiastically.

They say the $102 million Global Center for Advanced Interprofessional Learning would bring together gee-whiz technology and hands-on learning to create the nation’s most advanced experiential health care training facility.

The center would allow students and others to learn by stepping inside a virtual heart, exploring a 3-D virtual knee or practicing patient care on high-tech mannequins that replicate breathing, bleeding and giving birth.

“This is something that is a game changer for UNMC,” said State Sen. Heath Mello of Omaha. “In my view, it is a cutting-edge approach to integrating technology into health care across the state.”

The hub of this hub-and-spoke model would be a three-story building to be constructed on the corner of 42nd and Emile Streets, south of the Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.

Gold said a fourth floor could be added if federal officials grant funding for UNMC to establish a national training center for highly infectious diseases.

Heard the hotel is going to be delayed. Another tower crane will interfere with helicopter traffic to much. They will probably wait till one of the towers building the cancer center comes down.

I wouldn't be surprised if the pharmacy school crane comes down pretty soon. I think they have one more floor to go.
