I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me, but from my view on the 6th floor at NMH, it looks like a tower crane is already up in the direction of Shamrock...

Drove by last night....The tower crane is definitely not up yet.

From 480 it looks like the base for a tower crane is in place, but its not going up yet

Yes, they have installed the base for the crane....they did that back on Oct 19th as I previously stated.

I just looked back at the timeline of the Hyatt Place for comparison. It looks like the base of the tower crane was installed for 3-4 weeks before the crane was fully assembled. We are right around that time right now since the base has been installed on this project. Hopefully that means the crane will be going up within the next week or so. Also as some have mentioned on here, they took down the crane on UNMC's campus and that is supposed to head to this project.

Someone will have to try to get a picture, although it might be hard with the forecast today. It was pretty neat seeing them assemble the crane for the Hyatt Place a few years ago.
