That's going to be interesting when it opens. Traffic on that frontage road is already really busy!

Yes I was thinking the same thing when I left Costco this morning. traffic is gonna to be a mess trying to get in and out of that area and back on the frontage road.

I wonder if they plan on doing anything to the road to handle this. I think a traffic circle would be a good choice.

I will believe it when I see it --- I think they have owned the lot for like 2 years. Long before they built the one off West Center and before they bought the piece in front of Costco.

On another note -- those entrances to Costco are going to get even more backed up once that one opens up.

when I saw this going up, I thought they should make an exit out of Chick fil A that only allowed people to go west (turn right) as the Costco exit next to their gas station is usually backed up on busy times into the parking lot, but that might screw up the west entrance.

The shell of the building was up a couple of weeks ago.

Where exactly will this be? I can't picture any extra land out there? Are they tearing something down?

Site plan review for Chick-fil-a has 7575 Dodge listed as the address which is the same as Sonic. My guess is that Sonic will be replaced.

Most of the Sonics in this area have all got brand new fancy digital signs/tvs installed in the drive up booths over the past month or so. The Sonic on 75th and Dodge still has the old signs which supports it may be going away. I was told however that the Sonic on 75th and Dodge will be getting new signs in January. It has to cost well over 100,000 to install those new signs. Could be come January instead of all new signs, all the employees get pink slips.

Cutchall Management owns the Sonic, as well as many restaurants. The building permit for that address lists Cutchall as the owner for the chick-fil-a project.

I went back and looked, Sonic was built in the summer of 2012. Basically open for 3 years. Think it even paid for itself yet?

I thought Chic-Fil-A were corporate owned with the general manager having a small stake in the ownership of his store?

Oops sorry -- I meant the shell is up outside Costco -- they were putting brick up today.

Not a chance that it paid for itself yet! Sonic has grown in popularity the past couple of years. Kids love it.

Maybe Chic-Fil-A is paying Cutchall enough $$$ for the building and to rent the land.

Well that will be another interesting (difficult) place to get in and out of. The northbound traffic quite often is backup past that entrance to Lowes.

http://www.omaha.com/money/chick-fil-a- ... 6d9a4.html

Construction to start in April and be open in the fall

On a side note Cutchall will be building a Sonic near Cabela's
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

OWH reporters must have stopped reading this board. Usually they copy what's being rumored around here.

Drove by Sorenson Plaza and there's dirt work being done just south of Burger King. This was the lot that Chick-fil-A had bought a long time ago.

I love Chick-fil-A! I've enjoyed them (and Dunkin' Donuts) for years, with family in Kansas City. But, I'm so glad they are here now & expanding. Both places are great. I joke: The biggest threat to my waistline in this town is Dunkin' Donuts!
I can get pushed out because I'm "too much" for some. Then, an observer of me comes suddenly swooping in to "fill my shoes." People are always more accepting of the new one, because their feathers aren't truly ruffled by them. (Yawn) I can count on it every time.

On the week day evenings I work my part time job, the 120th and Dodge Chick-Fil-A is located right between the office I work and my residence. The cool thing is, about once a week when I get off work, I'll hit up the drive thru (about 9pm or so) hardly no customer traffic- zip in- get my spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries and zip on home..

No lines, no customer hysteria. It's Chick-Fil-A just how I like it :) ...

Ciao..LiO...Peace

The Chick-Fil-A on 75th and Dodge is complete framed up. Looks a little different than others in town.
