Article on Andrew White. With such a small team, NU will need many to up their game on the rebounding:

Good article on NU's new Assistant. Did not know much about him until reading this:

Nebraska basketball practice open to the public combined with trick or treating in the concourse of PBA. Pretty cool event to take the kids too:

Watching a Nebraska basketball practice might be the scariest haunted house in Lincoln.

Despite the loss of Petteway this team should be a lot more talented. We have three top 100 recruits with White lll, Watson, and Marrow now eligible to play. Pair with that the return of Shields, Parker, Hammonds, Fuller, and Webster (we'll see), I'm excited to see what they can do.

With the football team not having the greatest year, maybe that will encourage the fan base to discover that the Huskers also play other sports during the regular season.

That's not really an issue. Volleyball sells out, and basketball season tickets have sold out every year at PBA.

Exhibition Halftime on BTN, All run by journalism/production students

Northern State 21 - Nebraska 43
Looks like a guard centric fast paced team this year, and one Hi-Top Fade.

Northern State 42 - Nebraska 95
Nebraska shoots 4-13 in 3-pt attempts, but not as bad as Northern's 1-32 from deep.

Was there last night. Little disappointed the crowd in the seats was a little bigger but it was decent.

This team will have some speed. Hard to tell what we will have overall based on the level of the composition but they looked better than some years exhibition outings. Much of the second half was filled with players that will most likely not see much playing time this year. The scoring dry spell in the first half about ten minute in was not good and lasted about 4 fame minutes. Too much of a reminder of last year.

Attendance of only 8,194. Pretty good for most schools for an exhibition, but nowhere near the 15,015 that Creighton had for theirs.

Nebraska fans come from a bigger radius that CU. CU has some out of town fans but not like Nebraska. If NU had played in Omaha I would have gone but I was not going to drive to Lincoln on a weeknight for an exhibition game. Also wasn't Creighton's game on a Friday night?

That was really late in the game. I couldn't find a good picture of the crowd but here is one a little earlier: (I would guess the actual attendance was probably in the 11,000 - 12,000 range, still pretty good for an exhibition game)

If you want to show an empty arena, look at Iowa's during their recent exhibition game: (this is in front of an announced attendance of nearly 13,000....more like 3-5,000)

I have no idea what to expect with this game. On the road, Young team in more ways than one, Haven't plays any competitive team yet. If the Huskers keep it respectable it will be a good thing.

They showed flashes. Horrible timing for such a young team. Will serve them will later in the year though. Andrew White seems to be living up to the hype.

Sorry can't post a pic but the alternative uniforms tonight are awesome! Old school Huskers cursive script with the 90s zigzags.

Yep. I remember calling that part on the bottom tire treads. Anyone remember if those were Adidas or Reebok? I know NU has been Addidas school for a while but for some reason I thought we had Reebok for basketball.

I loved the 90's script.

Reebok sticks in my head but could have been Converse. If memory serves, back in the 90's NU did not have all of their teams under one brand so it could have been either. I remember several other schools having the same design.

After looking a little further these were part of the Converse "Voltage" collection.

Wouldn't be surprised after this game if Adidas sells them.

They wore the cream colored uniforms with the script last night for the game too. It was assumed on Sunday when they wore the. It was a one time thing. They have been getting good fan response to these it seems. We may see more of them.

Tai Webster with a career night in a tough loss at the Barclay's Center to #24 Cincy. It would be huge for NU if he can start playing as well against college competition like he does internationally.

Nebraska having a more than decent game against Tennessee today, which provides a good bounce back from the close loss yesterday.

As a side note: Kent Pavelka is just ungodly awful as a basketball announcer (somehow slightly worse than "Refs waaa waaa" Matt Davison/Davidson/whatever). I had to find the Tennessee broadcast.

I actually like Matt Davidson on there. He is probably not as much a homer as some would like. He will admit when close calls go against Nebraska that should go against us.

Nice to see Tai have another big game. Happy with the win over Tennessee.

Next up, no. 15 Miami.

Tough loss. All 3 NU losses to ranked teams. So far so good on the new young players NU brought in. Good to see Hammond progressing as well, along with Tai.

So, when do we start the "this is paid attendance, I didn't see that many people at the game!" complete with pictures that may or may not of been from the final 5 minutes, discussion?
