For any Rockies fans or Coors Field lovers, I took a few photos at the game last Sunday:

I'll have some photos of Omaha (hopefully aerials, too) in about a week.

A "few" photos? LOL. They were awesome. Made me feel as if I was there.

Great pics. I love the Rockies and was supposed to go to a game there this summer but I think that my plans have put that on hold until next summer. I can't wait to see the stadium and experience what you saw.

Thanks guys! There's nothing like having a crappy baseball team when you're only 4 blocks away and good tickets are only $4-$7!

Haha, I know what you mean, the A's kept having all these free admission games earlier in the summer.

Love the Pics Zephyer! I haven't been to Denver since late 1998, so it was nice to remember my week. In one shot there is an "ocean" of mid-rise apartment and condo buildings past some railroad tracks. Are those all new? I just don't remember large clusters of buildings like that, but then I was staying with a friend in Westminster, so it wasn't like I was downtown all the time.

Great shots! Coors field is one of my favorite ballparks. I hope we can get something like this in Omaha, on a smaller scale of course. Oh and with the streetcars too!

Thanks, OmahaChef. Yes, those buildings are all new in the past 5 years. The one I live in opened in the fall of 2003, there will be new townhomes opening this fall, and twin 23-story towers just started construction this spring accross the street from me. Also, the $6 million Millennium Bridge connects this new hood with LoDo and the 16th Street Mall.
And thanks, OmahaJaysCU. I suggest you check out http://www.omahastreetcar.com

Given the extra 2 million some odd people ... that's probably bound to happen.
