That is almost certainly a typo on the NCAA end. All the tickets list evening game times as 6 or 7 local time

Hardly any marketing. School still in session, so day games are out and early evening games are iffy,shocked by the empty sections on Saturday’s game, but even the schools weren’t showing up.

The local organizers should have bombed civic groups with some free game passes once they saw how low attendance was.

The officials were probably not too worried about it since there were over 5,000 all session tickets sold in advance.

Vandy hit 9 HRs, yes NINE HRs. Connor Kaiser himself hit a Grand slam, a 3 run HR, a 2 run HR, and an RBI single.
7 times in the last 9 seasons they make the Supers. The 2014 Champions look wicked strong.

Mine is basically the same. While I don't like Tejas, they bring fans and thats what i want. And i like Vandy, but that whistler is anoying as heck. I just heard OPD and Security are going to make sure he is not close to any ESPN crowd mikes.

Excuse me if this isnt posted in the "Omaha Crime" thread, but I have a bad feeling this will be the year something bad happens during the CWS. Not that I want it to happen of course, but with the way the world is today, and how big the event has gotten, I could see somebody running down fans with a van, or a bomb, or a mass shooting. Lets hope not, but I have just had a feeling over the last year that it could happen.

I have to think not. The CWS is Omaha's event. If they will drape M16's on dozens of cops for BH weekend, the powers that be have to be willing to drop the new Shamu into the middle of 10th and Cummings if need be to keep that place safe.

It's a refreshing, and a bit crazy, change from "the stadium is oriented wrrrronnnngggg waaaaahhhhhhh" that usually happens around this time though.
