"Using some of the local breweries and have those beers on tap," explained Keller.

Local brewers are excited.

"Yeah, it's going to be amazing. People can get a little bit of a taste for us over there and then they can kind of come over here and find some of the other stuff that we do," said Chase Purcell of Zipline Brewing Co.

The hotel is hoping to draw in a wide variety of guests with their prime location.

"We'll just have the opportunity to welcome guests, welcome corporate travelers, welcome groups that want to entertain their business clients an things. It's the perfect location for that," said Keller.

Keller said they hope to open the hotel either late Oct. or early Nov.

The hotel will have 128 rooms and 12 suites.

I didn't realize there was some commercial space. I hope it is open to the street.

It seemed like they did pretty good business and that area continues to gain more residents. This is disappointing to hear.

I drove back from the airport late (11:30pm) on a Friday night a few weeks ago.

Not a patron, park car, or any evidence of life could be seen at either Rocco's, Lefty's, Blatt or Mattress.

The North Downtown Potemkin Village is in full effect it appears. Have we reached max-bar saturation? Back in my days, it didn't matter if you were at JD Tuckers, Howard Street, Cactus or Safari. 11:30 downtown was packed.
