the second-ranked Huskers topped the Bluejays 25-19, 24-26, 25-17, 25-21 Friday night before a sellout crowd of 8,450 at the Devaney Center.

The Bluejays held Marquette to a season-low .078 hitting percentage.

Creighton concludes the regular season against DePaul on Sunday at 11 a.m. for the Bluejays' Senior Night.

Omaha Advances With 3-1 Win Over NDSU

The Omaha volleyball program picked up a four-set win over No. 5 seed North Dakota State in the quarterfinal round of The Summit League Volleyball Championship presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare. The fourth-seeded Omaha Mavericks battle top-seeded South Dakota in the semifinal round of the tournament. Competition is set to take place at 4 p.m. (CST).

Omaha Knocks Off South Dakota, Advances To Championship Final

The Omaha volleyball program secured a four-set win over top-seeded South Dakota Saturday afternoon inside Hamilton Gymnasium.

The Mavericks won 21-25, 28-26, 29-27, 26-24 over the Coyotes.

Nebraska volleyball defense returns to form, sweeps Ohio State to close out regular season

The Huskers’ sweep, combined with Minnesota’s win over Penn State, means all three finished tied for second place in the Big Ten with a league record of 17-3. Wisconsin swept Rutgers on Saturday to claim the conference crown with an 18-2 mark.

Next up for the Huskers is the NCAA tournament selection show on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., where they find out their path to try to reach a fifth straight Final Four.

Wisconson also swept Texas A&M today so they didn't have to stretch their players either. It should be a good one tomorrow. Sure Wis has sept us twice but the Huskers are a good team a it will be hard to beat them a third time
