2019 has been stage overall. Spring floods, not very hot in general and periods of dry followed by a wet fall. It will be interesting to see what we end up with. I have been all over the metro this week and just starting to see the faint yellow hue in some of the trees. On average over the past 12 years we have started seeing fall colors in Omaha on September 26th, so we are "late". Hopefully with the cooler weather moving in this past week and plenty of moisture we have a good fall ahead of us.USDA Forest Service wrote:A warm wet spring, favorable summer weather, and warm sunny fall days with cool nights should produce the most brilliant autumn colors.
