Farnam Hill sounds better than Quarters, at least.

Abby Korth and her partner, Ryan, took a chance two years ago when they bought an old barbecue joint.

They turned it into Zen Coffee at 25th and Farnam streets.

It's almost right in the center of Omaha's newest neighborhood; an eight-block section known as the Farnam Hill District.
Across the street, the owners of Zen Coffee are now opening a yoga studio.

Next to that, the Next Chapter Book Store.

Voodoo Taco is also setting up shop, one of numerous businesses in the new Farnam Hill District.
Just to clarify, is this new Farnam Hills District what people were wanting to call the Quarters District? The article and video explained nothing about the boundaries, other than it's composed of 8 blocks.
That was my first thought as well. It seems like it to me, especially compared to the description of the Quarters District (in the thread titled "Park East District").

It has to be, in the video about the "Farnam Hill District" the woman described it as an 8 block area and in the OWH article about the "Quarters District" that was described as:
the area bounded by Dodge, Leavenworth, 20th and 28th Streets. (The neighborhood has been known as Park East.)

Which definitely includes Zen, the Holiday Inn and the Even

If this area (sorry for the phrasing) blows up, like Blackstone, developers and business people are making it easy to have a streetcar be successful with an initial route being on Farnam from 10th to about 42nd. It would connect popular areas of interest in Downtown/Midtown, without much effort. Each area can shoulder additional growth as well. Anyway, I've diverted too much. Back to Farnam 25. I am glad they took the risk to invest in the area and that they are doing well.

'Farnam Hill' adds quaint bookstore, tacos, yoga and an '80s bar west of downtown
The new five-story Holiday Inn Express plans later this winter to open a 1980s-themed bar on the street level of the $18 million hotel.
A new brewery and restaurant pub is to open next spring on a street-level bay of the Farnam Hill Lofts at 26th and Farnam, said Tom McLeay of Clarity Development. He said the tenant plans to make an announcement soon, but said the operation is to be headed by experienced brewers

So, Farnam 25 never materialized and Smoke Pit became Zen Coffee Co?
