Per Kenpom.com today, the Mavs are the 151st best team in the country.

Nebraska, the second worst Power 5 team (only California at 171 is lower) is ranked 150th. I think if they flip, this will be the first time in years that the Mavs will have a higher ranking than Nebraska (a few years ago when the Mavs were one play away from the NCAA tourney, Nebraska was in the 40s or 50s with maybe Tim Miles' best team.)

The Omaha men's basketball team erased a 16-point second-half deficit Thursday night, defeating Western Illinois 87-82 in an overtime thriller at Baxter Arena. With their 15th straight home win, the Mavericks improve to 11-10 (4-2 Summit League), while the Leathernecks drop to 5-12 (2-5).

Mavericks Come Back for 75-71 Win Over Purdue Fort Wayne

The Omaha men's basketball team came from behind to win Saturday night, defeating Purdue Fort Wayne 75-71 at Baxter Arena. With their 16th straight home win, the Mavericks improve to 12-10 (5-2 Summit League) and are half a game back from first place in the conference standings. The Mastodons drop to 9-13 (2-5).
