Oh well, with the Jays playing the way they were in the first half it's probably for the best they cancelled it.
Hey, they were playing crappy and still only down 3 at the half. I predict the Jays would have blown out the Johnnies in the 2nd half, lol ..
In all seriousness, it is the right move. It’s just silly the Big East let the Jays game tip..but in any case, I really now believe the NCAA Tournament is over too...

Yep on all accounts. They should have just called it prior to the tipoff, now they look foolish for not doing it.
Bummer that all sports are probably done for the year. I'll just keep re-watching the Creighton v Seton Hall games, or the Nebraska game and pretend to be surprised

Kansas and Duke didn't wait on the NCAA to make their decisions about the tournament
Well, two of the tournament’s leading contenders weren’t going to wait on the NCAA to make a decision. Kansas and Duke have decided to not participate in the NCAA tournament should it even go forward. In separate statements, Kansas — the unanimous No. 1 team in the country — announced that it would be suspending all athletic-related travel indefinitely.
The NCAA announced Thursday that it has canceled its men’s and women’s basketball tournaments amid the growing coronavirus outbreak. It marks the first time — since the men’s tournament was introduced in 1939 and the women’s in 1982 — that champions in the sport of college basketball will not be crowned.”...

I have a feeling if a player on a team which makes the field of 68 for the Big Dance, tests positive for Covid-19, the entire NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will be cancelled for 2020..
This situation is getting worse by the hour; it’s unlike anything any one of us has seen in our lifetimes..and we must get a handle on it quickly...

Yup......The Big Dance will be cancelled or suspended. It almost has to be. We might see them shut down restaurants which would be a good idea.
