Glad the Jays squeaked out the win against a good UConn team. I just hope they can find their rhythm again with their crisp passing that they seem to have lost these past 3 games.

It’ll be interesting to see where the Jays land in the rankings this week..

I’d say somewhere between 15th-20th...

About where I thought Creighton should be ranked. Florida St probably shouldn't be that high...yes they only lost 2 games, but they have 2 pretty bad losses as well.

I think they are rightfully ranked somewhere between 15-20 right now. If they get their footing again, then that'll be worth a rise in the polls.

Agreed..

The Jays are 11-4 now. 10 games remaining. If CU can finish 7-3 or especially 8-2 down the stretch (18-7 or 19-6).. that might be enough to garner a top 10 finish on the season..and more importantly, a possible #3 seeding in the tournament. Fingers crossed 🤞 for both...

This signing would be huge for the Jays- Rated the #6 player in the nation right now. From today’s W-H-

“Millard North star Hunter Sallis announced on Twitter Sunday that he’ll make his college choice in March. Creighton is one of his eight finalists.

“I will be announcing my college commitment on Friday, March 26,” Sallis wrote. “Stay tuned.”

And Creighton’s still in the mix. The Jays were one of the top eight contenders that Sallis revealed in November. He’s also considering Gonzaga, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oregon and UCLA.“..

I wouldn't mind if he chose Creighton, but I don't know if he fits in with the current program. Most guys at Creighton end up spending at least 3 years within the program to help them develop. The problem I have with one and dones is that defensively they aren't usually up to speed with the college game and Creighton really relies on team defense.

Tonight is going to be tough game @ Seton Hall. CU blew them out in Omaha and they will be ready to play tonight...hopefully the Jays are too.

Absolutely pathetic defensive performance by the Jays in the first half. Easily their worst performance of the year in that regard..

This team has developed a bad habit of effort inconsistency.. And this is also seen in their lack of ability to make free throws.. Bad turnovers. You name it, the Jays were guilty of it in the first half. Gawd AWFUL..

Need a complete turnaround by CU in the 2nd half..

Seton Hall dominated the Jays offensively in the first half. 54-44 Pirates at the half...

The one positive is the Jays are back in form hitting shots. 10-15 from 3 and shooting 53% overall in the first half.

I am convinced that Antwaan Jones doesn't know how to play D.

HOLY BUCKETS!!..

Jays were dead in the water- down 16 with nine minutes left and the improbable and fantastic comeback..

Absolutely unbelievable and HUGE CU road conference win- Mitch finally found his shot..

Could be a season changing win...

Largest comeback win since Toby Hegner's beer filled freshman comeback against Oklahoma on Nov 19, 2014.

What's crazy about Ballock's game last night is that he had 17 attempts, which is the most he has ever attempted at Creighton. Even when he scored 39 2 years ago vs DePaul, he only took 14 shots.

For as good of a shooter as he is, I would like to see 10-15 shot attempts per game.

I did changed the channel, but only because I had a 3 year old telling me he wanted to watch something else... Didn't realize they came back to win for several hours and didn't see the highlights until today!

Horrible shooting performance by the Jays in the first half..

And the Jays still struggle from the free throw line..

DePaul is in foul trouble, playing short handed without their best player (Charlie Moore is out) but still hanging with CU. The good news is the DePaul foul issue. This was an ugly first half of basketball..

The Jays, once again, need to pull their heads out of their behinds in the 2nd half..

29-29 tie at the half...

Absolutely horrible and inexcusable with Sr and Jr getting most of the playing time.

I am not sure what is wrong with this team, but they look horrible. Not even a shell of last season's team. They are so lackadaisical this season.

Hopefully they get chewed out at half and come out strong.

Strange night when FT shooting wins a game for the Jays with how bad they have been this year.

Terrible, ugly game, but a Win is a Win and I'll gladly take it.

Gritty win for the Jays tonight..

Reef and Ryan Kalkbrenner came up huge for the Jays in the 2nd half. Ziggy with a solid game and guess what?-

In the 2nd half, the Jays HIT clutch free throws 11-11! Off game for Denzel, DJ and Mitch..but I’ll take the conference road win..

69-62 Jays over the Blue Demons...

I am curious how far the Jays will move up in the rankings this week. (Granted they were 2 sloppy wins, but they were both on the road)

The # 7,8,9,10,11,12,14,15, and 16 teams lost this week. So there is a good chance they could be in the 10-12 rank.
