I liked Erstad as coach and all but one area I thought they fell short on was having strong relationships with local coaches (1620 used to talk about this) and getting more recruits locally. Glad to see it's changing. Couple more local kids coming to Husker baseball:

Game 1 today vs. Purdue in Texas

All this in the league with no out of conf games, No fans in the stands, and no Conf Tourny.

At some point why bother.

The hardest part for me to wrap my head around is that there are no fans. OK, limit it but NONE, come on..... How can we now have some limited fans at the Basketball tourney indoors and nothing at an outdoor venue?

Too bad they let it get away on Friday. They had the game most of the way but that is how Baseball works. Now to see what they can do with game four starting at 10AM today ( Sunday)

I am quietly optimistic on this year’s team. If I am Bill Moos I might look at extending Bolt.
