Dominos will take the place of a former loan advance building. Directly next door to Little Caesars. Another decent chain moving into N Saddlecreek area.

Does this mean anything for the St Mary's location? Or is it overwhelmed?

I thought it might be 721 S 72nd St Ste 105, Omaha, NE 68114 relocation.

I'm sorry, but if I am at Saddle Creek and Dodge, Dominos isn't even on my radar... Mama's, Sgt Pfeffer's just to the north and LaCasa and Noli's just to the south....

Agreed, might appeal to drunk college crowds or hospital employees working long shifts though.

I doubt that because it is far enough away, it would serve a totally different group of people. I bet this is just an addition. Be kinda close spacing for Domino's, but with the density increasing, I think it'll be just fine there.

Lots of competition too. Godfathers, Domino's, Little Caesar's, Mama's all within that <1/4 mile strip.

That was my guess as well. That they wanted to be closer to the ever expanding Nebraska Medicine.

That part of Saddle Creek is becoming Pizza Row!

The old mortuary at Hamilton is being demolished. Good thing. Some one was squatting on the backside of the building.

HARRISON AT SADDLE CREEK LLC owns the block where Wolfson was. Why not take down Wolfson, when you took down the mortuary.

Was there ever an updated rendering? Looks like these gained some nice height.

It doesn’t look like the original 10 Square Townhome rendering.. But we know plans can change several times from the way a project is originally presented (if indeed the updated pick reflects 10 Square)..

I like the way this development looks to be coming together…

Compared to the original rendering of this project, it certainly looks more substantial :thumb:…

Weird, I just saw that their location in Bellevue by Harlan and Galvin is also for lease.

The one in Bellevue hardly ever has any cars in the parking lot...not quite sure how it is still in business.

The one on Saddle Creek is also usually very quiet whenever I've gone there. And the Walmart Neighborhood Grocery is just a couple blocks away.

They could be looking at purging low sales stores.

Oh man, that would crush me. I severely hope its just a changing of hands, not a plan to close. Its no where near as busy as the Walmart, but it does have a very steady amount of customers pretty much every time I go as long as its not late at night. If they are weeding locations out, 90th would make 1000% more sense.

The area needs more grocery stores, not less. I don't even want to think about how busy that Walmart would be if they do take the axe. I pretty well hate going to that Walmart anymore.

Interesting... The Family Fare is under the name "No Frills Realty LLC". The listing in the link above shows pictures of both the Bellevue Family Fare, as well as the Saddle Creek one, along with pictures of the strip mall that is backed up against 46th, and the building that fronts Saddle Creek (not really sure what's there, but its across from Mama's) when the other buildings are under the name "FMI". Not sure what that means. Also the Laundromat on the north end of the strip shows a different owner from both the others, yet it is pictured in the listing.

Maybe the asking price for those townhouses/rowhouses aren’t so laughable now

I definitely still think the asking price is goofy. I don't know how anybody could defend building a handful of $600,000 townhomes amongst the likes of low $100,000 houses. Unless the goal is explicitly to commandeer a neighborhood, which I fear that is the goal. We don't know what's happening with the Family Fare and surrounding buildings (if anything at all). Bottom line with those townhouses today is they are about 5 times the value of adjacent houses or apartments in the immediate vicinity. And I'll be frickin upset if that gentrification mentality takes hold and pushes out even the simplest of necessities.

A group out of KC called Drake Development recently bought the Westlake/Panera, Qdoba, and Burger King here.

Nothing will happen anytime soon (probably 5 years) but I was told they aren’t going to renew leases once they expire and will redevelop in some form. No details on what specifically.

Well ACE would be a huge loss for SC. But id trade that for a 5 over 2 with a 2 story urban target that has a grocery.

It could happen you just have to believe.....

Agreed. The place is always busy too. As long as the new build could keep rent low enough at least.

A very loud bright yellow color, smoke shop sign put up on the old Max I Walker sign appears to be opening shop there. :(
