Oh, I see. They have to beat Arkansas one more time to advance to play NC State. Then a 3 game series just to get a berth in the CWS. Talk about running the gauntlet.

That was a heck of a game, and now it's anyone's series. I'm not familiar enough with Nebraska's or Arkansas's roster to know, but I'm curious what these two teams have left in the tank when it comes to pitching.

Well that was a bummer. Close for most of the game and then one big inning from Arkansas blew it open at the very end.
That said, it's pretty clear that Nebraska has a good coach again.

This is unbelievably great news. He could have easily sat out a year. He also could have joined a LOT of other staff's with his track record. Husker baseball's exhibition this weekend against Wichita State cancelled due to Covid.

Due to the Covid issues within the Wichita State program that led to the cancellation of the game. Nebraska will now play an intra squad game at 12 Saturday that’s open to the public.
