I'm the same way. Downtown stadiums typically make more sense to me, but of the 24 MLB parks I've been to....I'd put Kauffman in the top 5. It's not like it's THAT far from downtown anyways.....leave it alone.

KC Star polling found a majority in support of a new downtown stadium. KCRAG would tell you that the Star isn't very pro-development or downtown in recent years so the results are surprising.

One of the interesting aspects some of the most recent stadiums were not built in DT settings. Miami, Texas and Atlanta.

Texas, I get - you're right between Dallas and Fort Worth, the hotel amenities are there because of JerryWorld, Six Flags, etc.. Atlanta's is in a poor location.
