It is crazy that it will have been 16 days since they have played at home. There are a lot of teams that haven't even had a road game yet (Nebraska or Iowa)

Again, a win is a win, but that was one big pile of poop. They've got to slow down and create plays, they don't have their timing down enough yet to run full speed.

This team has a long way to go..but as long as they’re winning while performing sub par, it at least gives CU some confidence while they’re growing up and righting the ship..

No doubt in my mind the Jays will take their lumps once we get into conference play.. It’s all part of the maturation process…

Another great comeback win, but in the Big East we won't be able to come back from 16 down. Hopefully this team matures and comes out with a little more sense of urgency earlier in the game. Having Kalk pick up 2 early fouls didn't help.

While Creighton gets used to its nice wins, we get to wait to the coming games, ISU and BYU. That is where this really starts.

That was exactly my response....this is the most complete game that they have played to date. Granted the competition wasn't great, but neither were some of the other opponents.

This Saturday vs IA St should be rocking. According to Ticketmaster, there are only 40 remaining tickets left for the game. This is a game I have been looking forward to for quite some time. I really wish that Iowa/IA St/Nebraska and Creighton would get together every year or rotate. Fans would love it. By the way, this is the first time that ISU has played Creighton since 2010 in Des Moines in the game where it was very clear that the ISU player didn't get his shot off from 1/2 court, but according to the refs, the game wasn't televised so no review was available.

That was one of the best college games I have ever gone to with the exception of Creighton losing, but the crowd was also awesome, almost 50/50 so it was back and forth. I expect Saturday's game will have quite a bit more blue, but I am sure there will be quite a few Cyclone fans there considering they are ranked.

The next string of games, Iowa State, BYU, Zona State, and Villanova will be huge tests for this young team. Can't wait to see where they shake out, and I'm glad 3 of them are at home and 1 Neutral Site.

I just found an interesting stat that no one would associate with Creighton. They are #27 in the nation in block per game with 5.5.

Another one of the Jays upcoming opponents Arizona St lost 29-51 last night to Washington St. They had one player make 5 field goals and the rest of the team only made 7 combined shots. That is definitely one of the lower scoring games I have seen.

Sloppy SLOPPY game by the Jays in the first half..

15 turnovers. FIFTEEN.. in the first half.. While giving up a 7-0 run to end the half..

23-23 Jays and Iowa St tied at the half. And the Jays are lucky they’re tied..

They need to button up offensively in the second half- or the Cyclones will leave Omaha with a W…

I’ll stop short of saying it was a bad home loss for the Jays..But it wasn’t good..

Too many mistakes/turnovers in the 1st half.. In the 2nd half, too many defensive breakdowns. Too many inconsistencies in individual play (especially Nimby. AOC and Kalkbrenner were non existent). The Jays are a young team. And they’ll play better teams than Iowa St in conference play..Hopefully this is a learning experience..

To me, this is a disappointing home performance by CU..but it’s not the end of the world either..kind of “meh” overall..

I didn't get to watch the game sadly, so I am glad to get your thoughts there Cowboy. Bummer overall, but, these are games they hopefully learn from. BYU is going to be another large test, hopefully they pass that one.
