Friday's baseball game with Nebraska hosting Iowa has had a time change. The Huskers and Hawkeyes will now have a 3:35 p.m. first pitch, up 3½ hours from the original start time. Pregame on the Huskers Radio Network, including 1400 AM and 99.3 FM KLIN in Lincoln, will begin at 3.

Nebraska offers and gets commitment from a Norris 8th grader…..

I guess this does confirm they are following through to really recruit Nebraska kids. That’s a huge plus.

I can’t remember NU getting a commitment in any sport from someone this young.

After a 1-2 weekend against B1G bottom-dweller Minn, the Husker Baseball team is now in a tie for tenth place. Almost sure they will not make the B1G tourny of the top 8 teams in a few weeks. IF if they sneak In somehow they really don't deserve it the way it has played out this season.

The opposite of last year. The polls probably underestimated the losses to graduation. The injuries didn’t help either.

Nebraska beat Michigan State 6-3 tonight. So they have a chance of making the Big Ten Tournament. But it's very small.

but had their tournament hopes dashed by rain in West Lafayette

Nebraska baseball entered Saturday needing to win for a chance to make the Big Ten Conference Tournament. But as Linkin Park said, "In the end it doesn't even matter".

Despite the victory, weather in West Lafayette was enough for Purdue and Maryland to cancel the final game of their series, putting the Boilermakers into the final spot of the conference tournament.
