I'm glad that the paint job on the helicopter is so bright. Really makes it standout.

After being gone nearly a month, the brightly painted Children's helicopter N855CH finally showed back up last week.

So that skybridge above 84th is now complete? The Gold building is now officially part of Methodist?

The Sky Bridge was under construction in 2019 and I believe opened sometime in 2020.

The Gold Building and the Blue Building to the west of the Gold Building were purchased by Children's on June 1st, 2016

I believe Methodist and Children's are completely independent of each other.

We seem to be missing the forest for the trees (or however that goes). **ALL** healthcare facilities are growing and growing. Look at the Nebraska Medical Center (engulfing a huge portion of Midtown). Look at CHI (and, their marketing with the arena naming rights). We boomers are making healthcare bigger and bigger. (Not complaining here -- it's great to have so many excellent facilities in Omaha.)

I cant remember now, but I was thinking it moved next door to the blue building when it opened in the late 1990's, but you would need to ask someone that worked there for sure.

Children's Nebraska:
A new name for the Omaha medical center

Omaha hospital celebrates 75th anniversary with new brand identity

Omaha's Children's Hospital and Medical Center announced Tuesday it will now be known as "Children's Nebraska". The rebranding coincides with the organization's 75th anniversary. “This 75-year anniversary is marked by incredible milestones, life-changing care and a legacy of excellence for the children and families we serve,” said Chanda Chacón Children's Nebraska President and CEO. “As we celebrate, we’re also looking forward on what’s to come with optimism and purpose.”

Children's Nebraska is the state's only full-service hospital dedicated to pediatric care.

Omaha's children's hospital celebrating 75th anniversary: Rebranding to Children's Nebraska

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — In celebration of 75 years, Children's Hospital and Medical Center is rebranding, now Children's Nebraska. The new name is something the feel, they have always been. In a packed room Tuesday morning, Children's team members came together to celebrate this new identity. Although the name is changing, the mission holds true. Making Children's what it is today has always been a goal for President and CEO Chanda Chacon.

New signs are up. I suspect this has been in the works for a while as the poles that hold up the sign near 84th and Dodge have been bare for quite a while.

That picture is so perfectly lined up that it looks like the Exchange Bank across the street is part of the hospital.

Shooting the skyline and snapped this one too. Nothing special, just a different angle for me to shoot.
