Duncan McGuire and Owen O'Malley Taken in Opening Nine Picks of MLS SuperDraft

Creighton Men's Soccer saw two Bluejays selected in the first nine picks of the MLS SuperDraft on Wednesday, December 21 as junior Duncan McGuire (Omaha, Neb.) went sixth overall to Orlando City and sophomore Owen O'Malley (Cary, N.C.) was selected ninth by St. Louis.

McGuire and O'Malley each collected All-BIG EAST First Team honors, while McGuire was the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year.

Duncan McGuire Named MAC Hermann Award Winner

St. Louis, Mo. -- Creighton junior forward Duncan McGuire (Omaha, Neb.) and Duke sophomore forward Michelle Cooper were named the winners of the 2022 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy, on Friday, January 6 at the MAC's annual banquet. Creighton has had one previous MAC and Hermann Award winner; current head coach Johnny Torres won each award in 1997. The two awards merged in 2002.
