My family is looking at joining a country club; specifically Shadow Ridge or Champions Run.
Does anyone have insight to one or both clubs? Likes, dislikes, etc.?
For additional context, I am a golfer, but our top requirement is a country club that really caters to families with events. After touring each facility, we got the sense that Shadow is better for golf and Champions for the family friendly environment, but we are completely open.
Thank you in advance for your feedback; as a new Omaha resident, I am excited to be here!

I don't have an answer, I do know members at Shadow but not Champions. The Shadow members I know really like it.
Shadow also just had an extensive remodel of the golf course in the past few years.

Shadow Ridge generally holds a concert (Shadow Ridge Music Festival) every year with b/c-list acts. Depending on your perspective that may or may not be an incentive!

Re: Shadow Ridge vs. Champions Run
I was a member at Champions for two years and didn't care for it. Not sure if they still do it but we got screwed on our membership as it renews on the calendar year so if you join in July of 2023 your membership will run through December 2024. It's not a rolling 12 months. We ended up having to pay an extra 5 months even though we didn't use the club.
