I agree - and this particular chain is on my "never visit them again" list. Too expensive, too inconsistent and quite frankly the food isn't great.Brad wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 11:12 pmIf it was a small locally owned joint, I would have messaged them first. However, over the years I have had ZERO luck in giving feedback to these fast casual chains. Most don't even acknowledge your message, and the few that do say something canned like "Thanks for vising us, sorry you experience didn't meet your expectations", and the feedback that you give them is never resolved. One of the Burrito Places here in town had a nasty amount of dust hanging on the vent above the food line. I messaged them several times saying, "you should really clean that vent" and they never did. I understand how hard it is to run a restaurant, I did it for years. But I can tell you if I got a comment from a customer saying "This _______ is dirty", I would have been up on a ladder that night cleaning it.SoPo wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:53 pm To be honest, when I first read this post, I thought about how if this note was left on the Omaha Food Lovers Facebook page, you would have been chastised and maligned for posting such a comment and not going to management to voice your concerns instead.
I think someone posted they had been to one of their locations not too long ago and they enjoyed it - I'm glad they had a good experience because after I give them about 2-3 tries to change my mind.
I'm happy I was able to find "Gary's Quick Steak Seasoning" in a bottle at the HyVee by me this past weekend. I knew they sold the pre-packaged frozen meat slabs but I had looked for the seasoning alone several times before with no luck. Almost resorted to ordering it online where I think it was about $8/bottle. I believe HyVee's price was around $5, but not for sure.
