The Minnesota game, as expected proved costly for Nebraska's bid for the NIT.

Losing Sam and Derrick will suck, but hopefully this team is on the right path.

Yeah those two were really fun to watch. Will be another interesting off season with who else comes back and who we add from portal.

Good perspective on our strength of schedule for this year. Even with a down Big 10:

1 seed Purdue goes down. After watching them almost lose to Nebraska (plus the way they played in conference late in the season) I just didn’t feel they were worthy. I didn’t have them going far in my bracket (but also didn’t have them losing in the first round).

Full final 1:44 from FDU's legendary upset over Purdue

FDU upset top-seeded Purdue in the first round of the 2023 men's NCAA tournament, becoming just the second 16 seed after UMBC to win a game in March Madness history.

#16 seeds are now 2-150 vs. #1 seeds in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Good for a 0.013 winning percentage 🙂

This is only the second time it’s happened I believe.

And was down by 10 at one point. You wonder how much KU missed Bill Self on the bench. KU had some serious talent this year but didn’t seem to have much bench depth.

I don't know how I missed this. Andre Smith was my favorite player when I first started going to Nebraska games as a kid. First time we tried to go was the first sell out in the Devaney Center's history (I think it was against Colorado). Drove to Lincoln from Omaha but didn't get in. We went to a game later that season. I can still remember when he'd score An! Dre! Smith!

Creighton beat Princeton tonight 86-75. They're moving onto the Elite 8! All right!

No "stagburn it" after Sunday's game?

Yeah, I didn't like seeing them lose like that.
