Nebraska concluded its weekend at the Cambria College Classic with a 14-5 loss to No. 4 Ole Miss at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Nebraska (5-4-1) had five runs on eight hits, while Ole Miss (10-2) totaled 14 runs on 14 hits.
Rough finish to the weekend, but overall it was a great one!
I see Creighton and Omaha postponed their game for today due to the weather. As far as I have heard, the Husker game is still a go. The weather must be worse in Omaha than in Lincoln ;)

Nebraska baseball (6-4-1) run-ruled Northern Colorado 12-1 in its home opener at Haymarket Park on Tuesday. The Huskers scored 12 runs on 13 hits with no errors in seven innings. Their pitching staff only gave up five hits and one run to UNC (2-9).
Starting pitcher righty Jackson Brockett pitched four innings, allowed two hits and struck out five batters. He didn’t allow a run. UNC gave Nebraska and Brockett a scare as lead-off hitter Hayden Heinze doubled down the right-field line. Brockett and the Husker defense settled in and got out the next three batters, leaving Heinze on third.

It was a timely three-run home run from Brice Matthews that pushed the Nebraska baseball team (14-8-1, 2-1 Big Ten) past North Dakota State (5-19). The Huskers took down the Bison 4-1 as Will Walsh pitched a gem and Shay Schanaman closed it out.

Nebraska baseball used a monster fourth inning and some stout defensive plays to best Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 12-1 on Saturday afternoon. Will Bolt’s squad dominated the first game of its double header in Abilene outhitting the opposition 13-5. Emmett Olson turned in another outstanding performance as the Huskers moved to 15-8-1 on the season.
