I look forward to Sunday’s Open House. I doubt I will ever set foot in the arena again, but it will be fun to take a look inside.

KETV did a story about there, Thursday night. An enclosed unloading dock, that should be popular with roadies. Look very nice.

Steelhouse Omaha hosts open house after its debut weekend

Steelhouse Omaha held an open house event on Sunday, inviting the public to tour the city's newest concert hall alongside some musical performances from local artists. The free event featured all sorts of entertainment including performances from the Central High School Jazz Band, Salem Baptist Choir, Omaha Girls Rock and other local musicians.

The open house tour gave the public a chance to catch a sneak peek behind the scenes too. It allowed folks to walk backstage, visit the dressing rooms and even step into the role of a performer by letting them step on stage.

Did anyone make it to the concert or open house? Care to share your thoughts on our newest performance venue?

I attended the Open House, and posted my thoughts elsewhere here on the forum. In sum, I thought it is a nice facility. I was told by a guide that the event capacity (not a “seating” capacity, which is less) is 3,000. There are about 300 seats upstairs in the Club Section, which has a premium cost.

No kidding. Would much rather see Dethklok by themselves than pay extra for that other hot mess.

I've seen Dethklok before back in 2009...I think. It's been a long time, but it was a good show. I have no problem with Babymetal but I like different sounding acts. I got my ticket to this show in April during the presale and thankfully didn't have to pay nearly as much as $220.
