NEBRASKA OVERCOMES ADVERSITY TO BEAT NORTHWESTERN

The Huskers offense struggles, but the Blackshirts carry Nebraska to win over Northwestern! The Huskers are out gained & have more turnovers than the Wildcats, but penalties & the inability to protect their QB because of a fierce pass rush from the Blackshirts (8 Sacks & 13 TFL's) was Northwestern's undoing, as the Huskers win 17-9. As always, Adam gives his unbridled & honest Gut Reaction!

NEBRASKA VOLLEYBALL BEATS NUMBER 1 WISCONSIN &
IS THE NEW NUMBER 1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY

The Huskers rally back from being down 2 sets to 1 to win the 5th set & the match, in order to snap a 10 match losing streak to Wisconsin & beat a number 1 ranked team for the first time since 2017. In the storied history of the Nebraska Volleyball program, this may be the biggest regular season win they've had. Adam lays out some great stats & as always, great passion in his Gut Reaction!

BLACKSHIRTS DOMINATE & YOUNG PLAYERS SHINE IN NEBRASKA'S WIN OVER PURDUE

The Huskers controlled the game from beginning to end. The Blackshirts are one of the best defensive units in the Big Ten & they showed it! Adam explains how & he also passionately talks about how Nebraska's offense is very inconsistent (fumbling issues), but several young players shined & with the new infusion of talented youth, the Huskers offense may be even more explosive. NEBRASKA'S PERPLEXING LOSS TO MARYLAND

Whether you think the glass is half full or the glass is half empty, Adam (as much as he loves the Huskers) always gives his passionate, respectful, yet honest opinion about Nebraska Football. After the Huskers & Terrapins combine for 8 Turnovers (5 by Nebraska) & the Huskers lose 13-10, Adam doesn't hold back. There's hope, but Adam is perplexed. You don't wanna miss this Husker fans!!

At the moment there's still hope. A very small sliver, but all the west games I mentioned in the other thread are surprisingly in decent shape. If they all miraculously end in upsets, Iowa would still have a 1 game lead, but keeps the door open.

Wisconsin doesn't look as good. Gives a little hope for next week. If every last little thing goes our way, the black Friday game against Iowa could be the tie breaker.

NEBRASKA'S QUARTERBACK SITUATION

Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield has taken a lot of heat for his play calling this year, which has helped contribute to the Huskers 27 Turnovers (which leads the nation). Nebraska's 3 QB's all combined to complete less than 50% of their passes Saturday, pass for a total of 86 yards, 0 TD's and 4 INT's. Adam admits this is one of the most interesting shows he's ever done as he tackles the Huskers QB situation, including who should start, who should rotate and the play calling he'd like to see. This is a doozy folks, don't miss it!!

the pass play when chubba had them in the redzone confused me. run the damn ball. at the very least, we could have gotten a field goal out of it. Besides that, I really don't know how they fix the turn overs at this point, maybe we could get brian ferentz to come over and teach them?

NEBRASKA'S DISAPPOINTING & FRUSTRATING LOSS TO WISCONSIN

Adam was on a roller coaster ride in this game! From Nebraska's hot start, to their lack of in game adjustments/questionable clock management. QB Chubby Purdy made his 1st start & impressed/surprised fans early on, but the Huskers offense struggled after that. The Blackshirts had some big stops, but failed to make the key stops in overtime. Nebraska's left with what to do next & will they make a bowl game??

NEBRASKA'S DISGUSTING LOSS TO IOWA

Frustrating, mind boggling & disgusting...Adam breaks down the Huskers loss to Iowa. In fairness, he does find some positives going into next season, with a very young Huskers team that does have speed & talent. But when you watch this show, you'll see the frustration oozing out of his pores. The coaches obviously have things they need to learn. Adam has interesting stats, mixed with raw & honest emotions!!

FINAL GRADES After MATT RHULE'S 1st Season!

Adam said in almost 10 years of doing the Carriker Chronicles, this is the longest he's ever spent preparing for & making a show. Hours of research & watching film lead to Adam handing out some tough grades! One groups final grade is an F, another groups grade is a D+, find out which group Adam gave an A- grade too. Also, the Coaches were the toughest to grade. Some people will be pleased, but some won't!

TONY WHITE IS BACK AT NEBRASKA!

Then news broke Chubba Purdy (probably the slight favorite to start game 1 next year) will be transferring. Absolutely loaded show! Adam discusses how former West Virginia & Houston head coach, Dana Holgorsen, could help improve Nebraska's offense, if he coaches for the Huskers! Holgorsen has had multiple record setting offenses at multiple schools. He's also coached several award-winning players, 1st Round Draft picks & successful NFL players as well. Adam thought he knew a lot about coach Holgorsen, but after doing some research, he definitely learned a whole lot more. Also, former Oregon RB, Dante Dowdell, commits to Nebraska! He can be an immediate impact player & a great fit for what Matt Rhule wants to do on offense. Adam explains that. He also shows some love to Nash Hutmacher, the Huskers star defensive tackle who just won his first college wrestling match!

Matt Rhule's BIG OFFSEASON so far!

Adam sits down & just chats directly with "The People" in this episode! He believes that Matt Rhule has had a legit BIG OFFSEASON so far. Adam discusses the Huskers position needs coming into the offseason & how Matt Rhule addressed just about every single one of them. He talks about who he believes the impact players will be & why they're so important. Adam also addresses if/what some of Nebraska's other biggest needs might still be, in particular on offense. The addition of a new QBs Coach & Co-Offensive Coordinator is huge as well. There's a lot of things Adam has not discussed & he addresses them all in this show! He's also interviewed Nebraska Wrestling Coach Mark Manning & Women's Basketball Coach Amy Williams recently & of course Adam has to talk a little Nebraska Basketball as well!!
