Is this heaven? No, it's Iowa.

It's not that bad here, not my cup of tea, but it's sort of like staying at a vacation house. We're staying at my parents house, they're still in california untill may. The house is squeezed between a golf course and lake manasomething. Lots of wildlife and my daughter is convinced that the power plant across the lake is a cloud making factory.
We've gone into omaha every day so far and are heading over to benson today to play around some.
As for the weather, after driving through wyoming last week this is heaven.

In HS, when i was a little more anti-iowa (too many blue plates in west O)... that was always kind of a "Is this heaven? (loud guffawing) No, it's Iowa!".

Now, the guffaws are silent. j/k :) CB has established itself as part of the metro rather than the |expletive| stepparent it was 15 years ago. :D
